Rain-wrapped tornado confirmed, but unrated. A total of ten homes were destroyed and ten others sustained severe damage at Lake Poinset; however, it is unknown how much damage, if any, was related to the tornado due to widespread straight-line winds. All 6,000 residents of Hamlin County were left without power.
